Matching Colour

Not every bike, car or van is a standard colour. We're here to make sure you get the best colour match.

How it's done

Did you know there are more than 40 shades of Frozen White, one of the most popular commercial colours?

We won't just give you the standard shade.

paint code .jpg

1. Find your code

A code from the manufacturer is the best way to start. Finding codes isn't easy but generally it's located on either door pillar, in the boot or engine bay. In some cases, Ford we're looking at you, the paint code is not on the vehicle.

2. Match it to a colour chip

With the code we can move on to matching with a colour swatch. There's often 2 or more shades for every colour and so you can imagine we have 1000's of of colour cards.

3. Scanning for colour

If a colour swatch isn't working it's time to scan with our spectrometer. It'll look at an entire database of vehicle colours across the world and find the nearest match, tweak it and make it match.

FROM CODE TO COLOUR IN 15 MINUTES.

Scanning Paint to Match

What do we need to get a match to your paintwork?

We would need a sample of the item, this can be as small as 3 x 3 inches (7.5 x 7.5 cm) square, please remember it must be a flat surface. If you're unable to visit our store in person with the vehicle posting a wing mirror/petrol flap or cut out from the bodywork will do just as well.
